We can rapidly complete an environmental screening or detailed due diligence for any type of real property. Each year, TRG performs hundreds of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for portfolios of properties and individual sites in the United States and Latin America. Phase I ESA’s are performed according to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Standards of Practice for Environmental Site Assessments, as well as All Appropriate Inquiries (AAI) standards.
Since the solution to many impacted property transactions is a third party certification, it is important to note that TRG has received site closures (i.e., No Further Action Letters) from many California Regional Water Quality Control Boards, County Environmental Health Departments, and local fire departments. We have has worked on sites under direction of the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USAEPA), and Latin American Authorities.

TRG’s due diligence services are cost-effective and complete, with attention to important details. We are staffed to perform asbestos, lead, and mold inspections of buildings. In addition, TRG provides turnkey environmental site assessment, remediation, agency interaction, and risk assessment services, as appropriate, if recognized environmental concerns are identified during the due diligence process.
