Founder & CEO
Ed Reynolds is founder, CEO lead Registered California Civil Engineer and Responsible Managing Officer for The Reynolds Group. In his technical capacity, Mr. Reynolds develops case specific strategies and designs, approves and directs complex subsurface investigations, remediation, and mitigation projects. Mr. Reynolds’ remediation design experience includes air sparging, dual phase extraction, vapor extraction, groundwater pump and treat, chemical injection, excavation, and bioremediation of many different chemicals. Under Mr. Reynolds’ direction, The Reynolds Group has obtained regulatory closure on hundreds of environmentally impaired properties.
Ed leads the company in aggressively moving projects to closure while maintaining a constructive and positive working relationship with the regulatory agencies. Ed’s sensible nature, approach and involvement make him an extremely valuable, accessible, and experienced ally for our clients. Ed founded The Reynolds Group in 1989 inspired by a passion to advocate for and support his community.

As The Reynolds Group’s Senior Engineer, Mr. Fuan directs The Reynolds Group’s remediation and environmental engineering practice. Mr. Fuan designs and supervises environmental site investigations and characterizations and oversees the pilot testing, design, engineering, construction, installation, and operation of active remediation systems and mitigation systems. A versatile engineer with a background in hydrogeology, he serves his clients well with his strategic planning skills, advanced technical knowledge of environmental issues involving soil, water, and air contamination and lengthy experience working with government authorities on behalf of our clients. He speaks English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Hakka Chinese dialect.
Mr. Ziegler is The Reynolds Group’s General Manager and oversees the technical implementation of remediation and mitigation projects and complex characterization projects. His duties include strategic development for projects, logistics, scheduling, operational support, quality control, resource allocation, and budget management. Mr. Ziegler also coordinates the firm’s staff and vendor resources to execute projects on time, on budget, and within regulatory requirements. Mr. Ziegler has developed a positive relationship with government regulatory authorities and acts as a liaison on behalf of The Reynolds Group’s clients.

Alec is a licensed Professional Geologist and, as a Senior Project Manager, Alec coordinates investigation and remediation projects and provides agency advocacy on behalf of our clients. Alec’s advanced geologic background in fieldwork techniques, stratigraphy, strong conceptual site model development and modeling rounds out our diverse technical team. Alec’s positive, resolute attitude and his ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly and orderly are assets to our clients.
