The Reynolds Group was contracted by a mechanical company that represented the UST owner, UC Regents, to remove three underground storage tanks at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Even though TRG’s President, CEO, and USC Alumnus Ed Reynolds* has been an Adjunct Professor at the USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering for 25 years, TRG did not hesitate to assist UCLA during Spring 2014. We performed underground storage tank (UST) related work as a subcontractor to Pan-Pacific Mechanical.
Under extraordinarily limited physical constraints for this UST removal, TRG and its own subcontractors helped UCLA remove three old UST’s ensconced in a highly-trafficked, highly-public area. The tight urban space constraints required the expert organizational and leadership abilities of General Manager to coordinate both the heavy machinery and people in a safe and efficient manner.
After: Underground Storage Tanks Removed

*Full disclosure: Mr. Reynolds is an adopted Bruin as his daughter recently graduated from UCLA while his youngest son played water polo there and graduated from UCLA in 2015.
